Beowulf is a really good book! The author did a wonderful job telling the story. I was able to picture what he was saying in my mind. 1-10 (10 being the highest) I give this book a 9.
I didn't like the language because the anglo saxson confused. otherwise I thought this book was very exciting.

Beowulf was a great book. The language in this book is very descriptive, and also confusing. The pictures in this book are also great. I could picture what was happening in my mind when my classmates and I read it. The person who re-wrote this book did a fantastic job. From a score of 1-10 I'd give it a 9.
Beowulf is a vert interesting story for fifth and sixth graders. It has very mysterious and detailed drawings that make it seem like you are there. Readers who enjoy fantasy will love Beowulf! On a 1 to 10 scale, 10 being the best, I would give it a 6.
"Beowulf" is full of adventure but included some puzzling passages. The language was sometimes hard to follow and confusing but overall I believe "Beowulf" is a very intersting book. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys books with action and adventure.

I thought "Beowulf" was a very interesting book! At first I thought Beowulf was the monster, but as we got further into the book I realized that Grendel was the monster. How would you feel if you had to fight Grendel? On a scale between 1-10, I would give it a 9.5!

Beowulf, in my opinion, was an okay book. It was interesting, but a little sad at the end. Some of the language was confusing because a lot of it was Old English from the original Beowulf. I also liked it because the written part was descriptive and the pictures were descriptive. Overall, this was an mediocre book!

I think that the story of beowolf retold by James Rumford was avery detailed and interesting. Hearing it told formed a very clear and creative picture in my mind. All in all Beowolf was a fabulous book that i enjoyed tons!!!!!!!!!!!!

the retold story of Beowolf was not nearly as good as i thought it would be. It left out too much.It also didn't have enough action. I would only give it one star.

Beowulf was a very good book and I like it because it has a lot of action like when beowulf riped the monsters arm off.I haven't read the book but for all I know the auther did a ok job of retelling the story because Beowulf is a huge book and there is no way that all the important events could all fit in that little book. The story still gets 2 thumbs up. :)
I think that Beowulf is one of the best books i've ever read! It's so vivid and descriptive. It's definitely on my top 5 list of books. I love the details about the monster. It really drew a picture in my head.

Beowulf was the first real fantasy book and most fantasy books took info. from Beowulf. I loved the story because I olve fantasy books. The language was strangr though. I recommend this to anyone who loves a good fantasy, picture book.

Beowulf was very intriuging. I enjoyed listening to it. It had a lot of brave and courageous characters in it. I liked when Beowulf fought the mother ogre.
beowulf was an interesting fantasy, but not my favorite. i dont like it very much because it was violent and you would know what was going to happen next. it was ok so i would reccomend it to people who like fantasys and some violence. my favorite opart was the pictures they were very detailed. on a scale 1-10 i would give it a 5 1/2.

Beowulf is a great book, getting right to the point every moment of it: He was a hero. The battles have great description and I hope many others will read it. One of my favorites, and I'm definitely going to vote for it.

This book was so fantastic, I could actually see Beowulf yanking off Grendel's arm with his mighty force. The fantastic illustrations in this exciting book made the pictures jump right off of the page. James Rumford's 9th century words made you feel like you were actually in Denmark! :)>-

My favorite part is when Grendel's arm comes off. The illustrations were amazing. On every page the dragon appears more and more from under the picture and words. It's awesome.

I loved the book beowolf! I thought it oustanding action packed story. James rumford is not afraid to to say that the main character died. That part seperates it from all that " and they lived hapily ever after" junk. Beowolf had such exquiset detail, and I could picture it as if i were actually watching it. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes action, fantisy, and the middle ages. Even though it has gore, the extreme story makes that part great. I can't wait to read the original copy.
Beowolf is about a worrior who saved the village from any threts and defeted greandle, greande's mother, and then became King. Until one day he died from a dragon. One of his helpers killed the dragon and became King.
I chose this book because i liked the blood and gore!I also like this book because it is based on medevil times. I liked this book because it was good. I would recommend this book to people who like blood and gore because there is a sort if combat in it. This book made me feel stronger than before.

This book was very intense. there was blood, guts, and other disturbing stuff.I didnt want to keep reading. i would recamend it to people who like stuff like that,but people who dont shouldnt pick it up. Though twards the end it was ok.
